Intro to TBK

Non-Competitive: 1st Grade +

If younger you MUST reach out to Heidi@teambrecksportsclub.com to try out

Our Intro to TBK Program is a non-competitive ski program that exposes athletes to all Team Breckenridge competitive teams (Alpine, Big Mountain & Terrain Park) to understand their true passions. This is done while working on solid fundamental skiing skills (SkillsQuest) that will translate to any skiing discipline they pursue. Athletes will explore the entire mountain with varied terrain under the instruction of our coaches. We will provide a supportive team structure to facilitate friendships while making practice fun. Our coaching staff promotes camaraderie, teamwork, and sportsmanship with safety and fun in mind!

Athletes are grouped by age and ability.

All athletes must be able to link parallel turns effortlessly without resorting to a wedge. This level of proficiency is non-negotiable as it ensures they can handle the challenging courses we offer.

It is imperative that all athletes ski with poles. This is essential for maintaining balance and control, especially on more difficult slopes.

athletes must be physically prepared to ski a full day with limited breaks—approximately six hours. This stamina requirement is crucial for them to keep up with the program schedule and fully benefit from the training sessions.

Please ensure your child meets these prerequisites before continuing in the program. Your cooperation ensures a safe and productive environment for everyone involved.

Please reach out to Heidi@teambrecksportsclub.com if you have any questions about the ability requirements.

Space is limited to maintain small group sizes.

A Season Pass must be purchased to participate in the program (additional fees apply).
