Our Intro to TBK Program is a non-competitive ski program that exposes athletes to all Team Breckenridge competitive teams (Alpine, Big Mountain & Terrain Park) to understand their true passions. This is done while working on solid fundamental skiing skills (SkillsQuest) that will translate to any skiing discipline they pursue. Athletes will explore the entire mountain with varied terrain under the instruction of our coaches. We will provide a supportive team structure to facilitate friendships while making practice fun. Our coaching staff promotes camaraderie, teamwork, and sportsmanship with safety and fun in mind!

Athletes are grouped by age and ability. All participants must be able to ski intermediate (blue) terrain with parallel turns. All athletes are required to wear a helmet at all times.

Whether you're aiming for the competitive scene or just looking to refine your style, we've got something for everyone.

Our awesome coaches are here to mentor and guide athletes both in practice and during regional and national IFSA competitions. Don't worry if competing isn't your thing—joining our program doesn't mean you have to compete. We've got flexible options to match whatever level of commitment you're comfortable with.

We believe in fostering a strong work ethic, all-mountain etiquette, sound decision-making skills, sportsmanship, creativity, and confidence. Your athlete will dive into advanced skiing skills (like SkillsQuest), learn how to read terrain for the best line choices, gain air awareness, and master skiing smoothly through tricky spots. Plus, we integrate technical proficiencies and skill assessments into our weekly training sessions.

Our Alpine Programs emphasize skill development through diverse free skiing experiences in various winter environments. By focusing on the tactical aspects of ski racing, we ensure that athletes gain valuable exposure and mileage, both in and out of gates. This becomes the cornerstone for their future development as successful alpine ski racers.

Success is defined by increased individual improvement at each age group. For our younger participants, we prioritize fun and the cultivation of fundamental athletic skills such as strength, technique, and stamina. As athletes progress to U16 and older programs, they begin optimizing specific sport skills and fitness levels aimed at competitive performance.

Beyond skiing prowess, we place a high value on instilling essential life values that transcend the slopes. Our programs encourage personal responsibility, respect for self and others, discipline, character building, leadership qualities, accountability, commitment, courage, perseverance, and initiative.
