About Team Breckenridge Sports Club
Team Breckenridge Sports Club (TBK) has inspired and encouraged athletes for over 45 years, helping them excel to the highest levels of competition. Our mission is to provide youth athletes with a positive environment and balanced guidance that fosters self-confidence, embraces goals, and nurtures a lifelong love for the mountains and snow sports. We strive to create a fun and safe environment for athletes to excel both on and off the mountain.


Position Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and effective coach to mentor U10/U12 athletes. The ideal candidate will help participants set and achieve goals in advanced racing techniques while inspiring a lifelong enjoyment of the sport. The coach reports to the Alpine Director and collaborates closely with coworkers and supervisors to support athlete development.


Position Details

  • Schedule: Part-time, late November through mid-April

  • Days: Saturdays, Sundays, select holidays, and travel to races

  • Compensation: $22–$24/hour (must be 18 years or older)

  • Supports TBK policies, procedures, methodologies, and philosophies

  • Attends and contributes positively to required trainings and meetings


Physical Demands and Working Conditions

Mountain Environment:

  • Outdoor work with exposure to cold, snow, wind, sun, high altitude, and heights

  • Standing for up to eight hours in ski boots

  • Continuous communication requiring talking and hearing

  • Visual demands include near vision and depth perception

  • Tasks include rolling B-Net, carrying gates and equipment on chairlifts, and setting race courses

Required Certifications Before Start Date

  • US Ski & Snowboard Level 100 certification

  • USSS/IFSA background checks

  • SafeSport training

  • CPR/First Aid training

  • Concussion training

  • Avalanche safety training
